A closer look at username scans, public-source clues, and control over your saved searches.
Enter an exact username without spaces. The scanner checks configured public platforms by category, displays possible account matches as responses arrive, and keeps the returned source rows in a separate log. Coverage and results depend on the sources available during the scan.
Yes. Pause stops the scanner from starting further requests; a request already in progress may still finish. Continue resumes the scan. Restart asks you to confirm before starting again, and switching search tools during an active scan also asks for confirmation.
A matching username is a research lead. Different people can use the same name on different platforms, and a source can return an incorrect or outdated signal. Open each source and compare the public profile information before connecting accounts to a person.
The workspace extracts possible names and email addresses from extra fields in positive source responses and groups them with their source links. These sections appear only when relevant values are returned. They are unverified clues and may include aliases, unrelated names, or automated email addresses.
Sources can time out, restrict requests, change their pages, or return a negative or unknown status. The complete response log preserves these outcomes and any supplied reason. An error means the source could not be reliably checked in that request.
Privacy mode is off by default. Enable it before starting a scan to skip creating a search task and saving the query or results to this site's history. The identifier is still sent to the configured scan service. The setting is locked while a scan is running.
Open the account menu and choose Username or Email under Search history. History is associated with the current browser visitor or account. You can delete a task from its list or detail page, or delete the account and all linked search history from the sidebar. Scans run in Privacy mode do not appear in history.
